Located near the resort community of Candle Lake, Saskatchewan, the Candle Lake Sportsman’s League is a member-driven organization dedicated to promoting safe firearms use, recreational shooting, and responsible sportsmanship. For over 50 years, the League has provided a welcoming environment where members can develop their skills, participate in organized events, and contribute to a strong outdoor tradition.

Our History
The Candle Lake Sportsman’s League was founded in 1975 by local outdoorsmen who recognized the need for a safe, organized shooting facility in the Candle Lake region.
What began as a small community initiative has grown into an established shooting range serving generations of members. The League has been sustained through volunteer leadership, member participation, and ongoing improvements to range infrastructure.
For decades, the organization has played an important role in supporting recreational shooting and maintaining a safe and accessible facility for the community.
Our Facilities
The Candle Lake Sportsman’s League operates an approved outdoor shooting range that includes:
