Established 1975 — Supporting Safe, Responsible Shooting Sports in Northern Saskatchewan

Located near the resort community of Candle Lake, Saskatchewan, the Candle Lake Sportsman’s League is a member-driven organization dedicated to promoting safe firearms use, recreational shooting, and responsible sportsmanship. For over 50 years, the League has provided a welcoming environment where members can develop their skills, participate in organized events, and contribute to a strong outdoor tradition.

Our range serves shooters from Candle Lake, Prince Albert, and across northern Saskatchewan who value safety, discipline, and community.

Our Mission

The Candle Lake Sportsman’s League exists to:

Provide a safe, structured environment for recreational and sport shooting

• Promote firearms safety, responsibility, and education
• Support shooting sports and organized competitions
• Maintain a high-quality range facility for member use
• Foster a strong community of responsible sportsmen and sportswomen
